CBSA strike action averted, employees will vote on tentative agreement
Job action by Customs officers at Canada’s borders was averted as the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Customs and Immigration Union reached a tentative agreement with the Government of Canada on June 11, for more than 9,000 workers at Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Over the next few weeks, union members will have the opportunity to attend ratification sessions and vote on the agreement.
The FB bargaining team unanimously recommends ratification of the tentative agreement.
